Can I tow a trailer on dirt roads?
Yes. Good dirt roads present no problems for our trailers. However, be cautious and reduce your speed.
At what speed can I safely tow a trailer?
A very heavy or badly packed trailer can be a hazard. Legislation says that you may not exceed 100km/h when towing.
What is an ideal tyre pressure?
Again this depends on weight and road surface. Between 2,0 and 2,4 bar suits most circumstances.
Can I load bikes or luggage on top of the trailer?
Yes, if you have the right rack and you are not overloading the trailer.
How can I secure my trailer against theft?
Campworld sell a device which locks onto your trailers coupler preventing anyone from hitching it up and driving off.

Safety tips
The first thing to remember when you are towing is that you now have 50% more wheels on the road and probably half the length of your car behind you. Safety starts before you even start towing. The trailer must be securely hitched, the electrics must be plugged in and tested and the jockey wheel must be securely stowed. (On uneven surfaces we recommend that you remove it and stow it in the trailer)
